I added the H8 Chassis CAD to the website. The format is for SolidWorks .sldprt files. Hopefully soon we will be able to build such chassis and upgrade it as needed.

I’m guessing the setup costs would be high for re-creation of the actual sheet metal chasis? But could send this to some metal shops and see what they say? I would think you’d need quantities in the dozens or even hundreds of units to make this worthwhile? The aluminum front panel is much simpler (a few cut-outs and bends) and might be more easily reproduced.
However with these spec’s as a guide we could create alternative cases (e.g. plexiglass) that largely conform to the original size. For those who will house only more modern boards (H8-2000+) the convection cooling needs would be significantly less and a solid top panel would be a possibility…
