It seems to be the season.
I have a couple bikes I would like to find new homes for. I appear to have irrevocably moved to recumbents, so these are collecting dust - literally.
None of them are nearly as impressive as some of the bikes I've seen people selling recently, but are all decent, rideable bikes. I've ridden one day STP and probably a Ramrod or two on the Lemond, and up to a 600km on the Habanero.
Getting a little bit of money for them is secondary to finding new homes for them where they are likely to get ridden.
They all need a bit of cleaning up before sending off to a new owner. Expressed interest would motivate me to get off my butt and do so.
1. Road bike - Rodriguez frame, Campy Mirage. Bought for a family member, ended up just storing it. This is for a small rider - as in close to 5 feet. I'm 5'6", and it would be much too small for me. Would be a great first road bike. The major disadvantage is that it has 650C wheels. Probably the max tire size is 700x25c. They make 28s, but it would be a tight fit.
2. Road bike 52 cm- LeMond Maillot Jeune frame, S&S couplings installed by Bilenkey, repainted black. Shimano Ultegra 9 speed drivetrain. FSA compact crank. Wonderful bike to ride - my favorite descender of all the bikes I've owned. The shifters are missing their dust cover/top cap (Ebay appears to have them.) Hand built wheels (that I built).
3. Road bike - 52cm Habanero TI Cross/gravel frame. Plenty of room for wider tires. SRAM Force 11, hand built wheels, compact crank, Selle Anatomica seat. Avid disc brakes, Lynskey carbon fork.
I've owned 3 Habaneros over several decades. I've put many thousands of km on them, and am keeping the S&S coupled version of this bike for myself in case I ever decide to do another ride on the "normal bike".
