Hey Go players,

As we move in to the holiday season and start a new year, we have lots of events coming up, and we need volunteers to help out with them.

The first event coming up soon is Orca Con. This is a boardgame convention hosted January 9th-11th (Friday-Sunday) at DoubleTree Sea-Tac, Washington State (18740 International Blvd, Seattle, WA 98188). This is a less intense event so I'm looking for 1-3 volunteers to help Heath run the table throughout out the day. If you are interested please email with which day you wish to volunteer for. You can also check out more information about the event at https://www.orcacon.org/

The second event is a new event, Mochi Tsuki. This is a festival in Bainbridge Island and is on January 10th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. We will be hosting a room teaching attendants the game of Go. This looks to be a smaller event but I am looking for 2-4 volunteers to help put our best foot forward on this one. It is also on an island so I am looking for volunteers that can help with set up and be there for the whole event. You can also check out more information about the event at https://bijac.org/event/mochi-tsuki-2025/

Lastly we are hosting another workshop at the Shoreline Library (345 NE 175th Street Shoreline, WA) on January 25, 3:30-5:30pm. This is another smaller event, though it's our first time trying it on a Sunday. I am looking for 2-4 volunteers to help teach people that are new to the game and just watch over games.

Thanks for your help and lets start this year with our best foot forward
