Hello fellow Go enthusiasts,

 

Open Sat., Closed Mon.
The Go Center will be open Saturday, Feb. 15, 11am-8pm.  The Shogi meetup will run 1pm-5pm, and the Programming Computer Go class will go 5pm-7pm.  The Go Center will be closed Monday, Feb. 17 for Presidents' Day. Nick Sibicky returns with the DDK class Feb. 24 at 6pm.

 

Visiting Pro

Mr. Daiki Komatsu, 3 Dan professional with the Nihon Ki-in, will be visiting Seattle Go Center, March 9 - March 13!  I'm sure he'll join Dr. Nick at the DDK class on March 9, and play simuls on Tue. March 10.  Watch for announcements of additional events!

Sun. April 19 - South Sound Go Club Spring Tournament at Terracrux Games, Tacoma! AGA rated; $10 to enter; prizes!
April 24 to April 26 - Outreach at Cherry Blossom Festival, at Seattle Center! Email prog...@SeattleGo.org to volunteer.
Sun. May 3 - Spring Go tournament! Register 10-10:45am. $12 (Youth / Go Center voting members, $6) includes lunch and a chance to win prizes!
Sun. May 31 - Spring Youth fun tournament! 1pm-5pm. Kids choose 13x13 or 19x19. Free; prizes!
Sat. June 13 - Rengo with pie and coffee! Teams of two face off, alternating turns -- tons of fun!  Register 5:30-6pm. $12 per player ($6 for Go Center voting members / youth) includes fancy pie.
