Wanted: 2GB DDR2 SDRAM (667/800Mhz) for my original mTCP dev box

It is not quite a retro-computer yet, but I used this machine to do most of my mTCP development for the past 15 years and I want to give it a life extension ...

The motherboard is documented to only take 1GB SDRAMs, but there are some reports that with the correct BIOS update it can handle 2GB SDRAMs.  I can't buy those new now because I'm about 10 years late, and I want to avoid the hit-and-miss experience on eBay if I can.  Also, nothing in the house has those.

If you have some I can borrow to test if the machine can handle them, I'd be grateful and more willing to go treasure hunting on eBay.  But I'd like to test first for obvious reasons.

On a happy note, Erik found me and his bag-o-RAM had exactly what I needed to test the machine.  Even though it has a documented 4GB limit, it's happily running memtest86 now on the 8GB of borrowed RAM.

I don't want to break apart Erik's set of RAM because I'm sure it took him a while to find it.  If you have 2GB DDR2 667 or 800Mhz sticks laying around let me know and I'll bribe you for them.  Otherwise, I'll be hitting eBay or RePC sometime in the next few weeks.
