ILCA 4.7 District 22 Champship 2024

The ILCA 4.7 District Championship 2024 will be held on November 23-24.

Grand Prix points apply.

CYC SEATTLE is hosting the event as part of the annual Turkey Bowl Regatta.

Registration is now open through cycseattle.clubspot.com

All ILCA 4.7 participants must be current members of ILCA-NA class throughout the regatta period; it is open to all age groups. You can check your membership status, renew or join through ilcanasailing.org

ILCA-NA class rules apply.

Sail royalty plugs will be checked to confirm that sails are made by approved ILCA sailmakers to ILCA standards.

There must be at least 5 participants and 3 races completed for this to count as a qualified District event and for Grand Prix points to be allocated.

If you’re at all confused about the timing of this 4.7 District event, you may recall that the event was originally scheduled along with the ILCA 6 and ILCA 7 District 22 Championships as part of the CGOD regatta hosted by CGRA earlier this summer. The ILCA 6 and 7s had good participation but there were no ILCA 4.7 registrants largely due to conflicts with other sailing events at the time. We feel it is important to provide another opportunity to have a successful 4.7 event. I hope to see a great turn-out and ask you all to encourage all 4.7 sailors you know to participate.
