Hi,

I'm new to search guard and to TLS/SSL in general,

I've set up search guard 5.4 on my elastic search server using the demo script and it works great.

Now I understand that the browser is unhappy with the demo version because It used "self signed certificate" , my question is how can I get a ssl certificate from a valid CA (and for free?)

I saw that search guard offers a TLS certificate generator ( https://floragunn.com/tls-certificate-generator/ ) , my question is - can I use this service to create valid (i.e non self-signed) certificates? In general does search -guard considered valid CA?

If someone could elaborate on this issue it will be great.

Thanks a lot,
Noam
