Searchguard git branch to use

 Hi,

 I am trying to clone the project from github (https://github.com/floragunncom/search-guard/),

  but I see various branches like 6.5.x , 6.5.1-23.2-api and es-6.5.1.

 Which one should I use and can you tell me the difference among these ?

*-api* you can ignore (just there to solve cyclic dependencies)
6.5.x is the base branch for all 6.5 releses
es-6.5.1 is the release branch where all the releases are made from (and where the tags are created)

In general you should use the release branches es-x.y.z like es-6.5.1

Hi,

  Thanks for the response. I have another query related to the same.

  I see that on the github project, tags are only created till version 6.3 (i.e ves-6.3-compliance-2-api and ves-6.3.-22.3-api).

 

  But, I checked here - https://oss.sonatype.org/content/repositories/releases/com/floragunn/search-guard-6/ , there have been releases after that -  the latest one being 6.5.4-24.0.

  Where can I find the tags for these releases?
