Startup time delay

Could we make the startup auto-play time delay configurable?  While 10 seconds isn't a HUGE amount of time, I don't need any delay and just want it to start processing immediately.  I have the system set to automatically restart on schedule, as well after a power failure, and I want to minimize the downtime.

I second this, and for the same reason.
I can live with the delay, but would be happy with minimal waiting upon launch.
