I run SDRTrunk on a remote computer and connect vi microsft RDP
Beginning with nightly builds around the first of September I am getting frequent crashes when RDP connects. ( 2024_08_ 23T12:32:05 worked fine)
I listen and record only, no streaming

I have discovered there is a "hs_err_pidxxxx.log"  created when the crash occurs.

FWIW, i use VNC to connect remotely and get much better performance out of everything as windows logs you in just as if your at a kb/mouse at the machine.
Where if you remote in, you are in a "remote session" that largely works the same, but not quite.
For instance when you disconnect, some things stop working. Even if you dont log off.
Where if i use VNC, i can disconnect and nothing changes, nothing stops working, and i can reconnect and carry one just fine.

This doesn't help the specific error but I use Chrome remote desktop

Can you post/attach the complete Java VM crash report ... the "hs_err_pidxxx.log" file?

I updated sdrtrunk to use the just-released Java JDK version 23.  Can you please test against the latest nightly release and let me know if you're still seeing this issue/crash when connecting over Microsoft RDP.

I tried that nightly update  and no improvement in RDP connection.  I did notice it seems like P25 recordings are being clipped or missed in this nightly.
Thank you
