Hi,

I'm trying to get the NHL going. I expected last year's stuff to just work as it did through the Stanley Cup. However, the API struggles with several variables, most notably, goals.

This query shows the issue:
  • date,goals@team='Maple Leafs'

This, as expected, works fine:

Thanks.

Hi John and SDQL API Friends,

I do not see any errors.
Can you please clarify?

If I enter this query it works as expected.
  • date@team=Devils
If I add "goals" or "saves" (or several other valid parameters) to the query, it fails. For example:
  • date,goals@team=Devils
https://s3.sportsdatabase.com/NHL/query.html?sdql=date%2Cgoals%40team%3DDevils&submit=++S+D+Q+L+%21++

This query was working for sure as of the last game of the 2021 Stanley Cup. The only thing I did since then was I added the 2022 schedules. I removed the 2022 games this morning and it still fails. The UI returns "the parameter reference `goals not found uniquely in []` returned no parameters"

Thanks.

John,

thanks for the clarification.
I see that the query works when logged in as guest and fails why logged in with your credentials.
I'll post when patched.

John,

I see that my player-level parameter `goals` was causing your query to fail.
I temporarily removed my NHL data so that your query now works.
I'll post here again when the underlying bug is fixed.
