Dear UN-ES/NFI SFPs, thanks for your email.
1. In scenario 1, ADA, was funded for cash and restricted vouchers to deal with the IDPs outside Malakal town, ADA responded at Comboni churches. 615 HHs received cash in the first round waiting to receive the second round of cash, and 616 received restricted NFI through vouchers redemption, the vouchers were redeemed last month. The project is ending in June however ADA, IOM and HDC are aware of the gaps that are still existing and shall advocate more for those gaps to be covered fully. ADA is interesting to keep working on those gaps.
2. In scenarios 2. ADA is in process of writing an RRF proposal to start construction of 240 shelters's construction soon ADA will start. ADA is willing and interested to do more than the 240 shelter construction in Kodok and the other nearby Payms in Pashoda county.
3. In scenario 3. ADA has not gone to Baliet and I believe other ES/NFI partners will attend to that. In case ADA is needed to help, we shall be ready to work in Baliet and address the IDPs needs with the other existing humanitarian partners. As a mobile partner, ADA has a mobile team that can be deployed at any time in any location if need arises.
4. In scenario 4, ADA has deployed a team in Renk and is currently working with IOM and UNHCR and other humanitarian partners at the entry point where refugees and returnees are received and rest. ADA have also established New bases in Renk and Meluth to work closely in handling matters relating to the Sudan crises and other humanitarian matters in South Sudan especially in Upper Nile.
With these updates from the State cluster, ADA is happy and appreciates the call from the State NFI cluster, and is currently available in Renk, Meluth, Malakal and Kodok and advocating for funding from ADA donors and seeking endorsement from the cluster to facilitate the advocacy.
Kind regards
Simon Mawich Mima Chung
