Hello,

I have problems with the SCION VMs. I did go through the whole troubleshooting section in the tutorials, but that did not solve it.

There is some connectivity, as you can see in the attached logs, but somehow there are no paths available. Neither to the pingpong servers nor to my other AS.

ubuntu@scionlab-ffaa-1-c19:~/go/src/github.com/scionproto/scion$ ./bin/pingpong -local 17-ffaa:1:c19,[127.0.0.1]:0 -remote 18-ffaa:0:1202,[128.105.21.208]:40002

What can I do? I have already reinstalled the VMs from scratch but that did not help.

Thanks a lot,
Sven

Hello Sven,
We have experienced a problem with the certificates in SCIONLab, and we are now fixing it. All user ASes running in VMs should get automatically updated by tomorrow at 7:00 UTC. Dedicated systems should run this line in a terminal:

This runs a temporary patch that will download the latest version of the configuration from the Coordinator. This latest version coming from the Coordinator has the new certificates correctly signed by the corresponding core ASes.
The same can be done inside VMs if you don't want to wait until tomorrow at 7:00 UTC.
We will soon send an email explaining this hiccup and this procedure to circumvent it.
Thank you very much and best regards,

Juan A.
