Hello!

I'm exploring a partnership between my non-profit organization, an affordable homeownership land trust non-profit, and a nearby school, and looking for any similar models that may be out there to glean insight from.

A land trust is building an affordable net zero housing community very close to a school. We connected the landowner with the trust, and so they are open to including a garden area that could be used by both the residents as well as us to facilitate garden walking field trips with the nearby school. Does anyone have any experience negotiating partnerships between multiple organizations like this?

Thanks for any agreements, MOU's, or just links to gardens/schools/orgs that you know of that do this that I can follow up with.
Thanks for your help!

Cheers,
denise

Hi Denise,

That sounds really exciting! Denver Urban Gardens has a lot of really inspiring experience with this kind of collaboration.

Hope that’s helpful!
