Hi all,

We are considering purchasing a kit of spare parts which most frequently require replacement (sensors, wires, etc).

Anyone having suggestion as to what should be in such a kit, given the track record of repairs and replacements?

many thanks

2 x ignition boxes on a mount with a connector

2 x injection connectors (The electrical connector for the fuel injector)

1 x brake sensor (The sensor at the top of the pylon for prop positioning)

1 x spare rear tyre and inner tube

In addition I propose to take a cooling pump, starter, spark plugs, ignition cable (pre confogured with crimp connectors for the ignition box ), Gas spring for the landing gear, air filters (if you intend to send the Arcus to Africa), exhaust gas pipe sliding tube part (see pic)
Best regards
Andreas

A spare U shaped actuator for the horizontal elevator.  This piece has a tendency to wear beyond the capacity to compensate wear with the adjustors.  S-H states that Tilo carries an extra with his Arcus.  I know from experience :(
I would double up on the brake sensors as they are notorious to fail.  BTW, our brake sensor kit had different wire couplings compared to the initial factory couplings, and this complicating factor took quite a bit of time and precision to splice the wires.
