Intermittent fault between Ilec engine control unit and MCU2 control unit

Our ten year old Arcus M #137 is having recurrent problems with intermittent faults between the Ilec Engine Control Unit and the MCU2 unit.   When a fault occurs one can hear a click coming from the rear seat right rear area under the seat pan where the MCU2 unit is placed. Wiggling the connections at the junction MCU2 Control Unit and the Ilec Control Unit terminals has resulted in regaining functional connection in order to start the engine.  Unfortunately the problem will reoccur at some unfortunate time in the future.

Has anyone had such a problem ?  Any suggestions ?

Hi,

I had once an Arcus where one solderjoint within one of the connector was faulty. Either Vibration or cold soldered
