Hi Everyone its Peter from ERAC Greetings !! I am in the proccess of writing
a book about radio Astronomy technic as a result of having about every book
ever published I realized that its all prity poor, Bob Sickles did a better
job of it back then with his publications but that was with the
possibilities Bob had back then. I no longer live in Germany I live in
Bangkok and work in China doing leading edge electronic projects for Industry
and research so part of my book has emerged as Telescope control the dream
of writing only a few pages ha ha i was so stupid, in reality using modern
extremely cheap Chinease drive electronics and motors with extremely cheap
well designed System Gearboxes I have redesigned an affordable dual axis
system.
The reason why I am contacting you is this, I want to hear your requests on
which standard we should use for the next generation Telescope control, as
this will serve as the standard to remove the chaos to get something going
that,s not many many roads to Rome but only for the ones who master software
programming I am developing for my book a universal interface with some other
solutions printed also. We have the opticians using thank goodness the ASCOM
Standard And the ham radio People using many many many island solutions with
PST Rotor being for a bunch of them a standard platform. they use SPID
Protocol. with Jim and Radio Eyes he is not replying to my emails so you are
the next level of contact, is he ok ? if yes kind regards from me please. his
solution is do what you want so here we are having to do that maybe with his
TCPIP solution for remoting from the start infact this is looking in general
the best idea but the telegram protocol not being standard is a bummer by
everyone. So I am respectfully contacting you guys to get your requests into
the conversation.
My book with 200 A4 pages so far their is still room for a hello SARA Exists
page in ODF Format ans maybe a guest Article You guys interested ?
