Does anyone happen to have an Alex Petit designed Yagi they would like to sell?  If so, let me know which model.  The student edition or his original design.
Thanks!

Jerry,

I have two: One using plastic tubing between disks, and the other with aluminum tubing. You’re welcome to them for free if you’ll pay shipping. There’s no LNA, though. These are the 0.75 meter versions with, as I recall, 13 disks. I was able to get nice HI data with the aluminum tubing version; I never tested the other.

I’m off to the SARA conference first thing in the morning so won’t be able to ship them for a week or so.

Jack,
Thank you so much! I will take the one with the aluminum tubing please. Let me know the best way to get the shipping cost sent to you. I believe that the aluminum tube version uses a 3/8 steel rod to hold the elements so you don’t have to ship that if it’s too cumbersome, I can pick up a steel rod here at my local big box store. Enjoy the conference! I was there a couple years ago and it was great!

Jerry,

Good point about the 3/8” threaded rod! It’s much easier to ship without it. You’ll need that and some matching nuts.

I’ve sent the rest of it via USPS.

Thanks Jack. Alex has posted the plans for multiple versions of this antenna on his GitHub page so I can make sure everything is assembled per his design.

Jim,

This is all Alex’s work. You can find his information here: https://github.com/AP-HLine-3D/HLine3D/blob/main/0verview_Project_HLINE3D_008.pdf

The Yagi is easy to construct and gives fascinating data. I had a lot of fun with it but am moving to a dish.
