An update on my project....    I have had some  success   lately  with  embedded  python blocks.    Dimitry  mentioned GNU  Radio   has  a   steep learning curve.   Yes,  this  makes it  a  fun  challenge.

I fixed  a few problems  and found  some  new   problems.  I  thought  I had it  but  when I run   Ted Cline's   latest test version   of  ezCon.py    I   get error  saying   cannot   process file.

Sooo    I am  going  to  send  along  my  latest   flow  graph if  you   would  like  to  try it.

I  am  using  GNU Radio 3.10.9.2 (Python 3.12.3)   on Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS
I  assume  you   have  GNU Radio  installed.  My  flow  graph   requires ra_funcs   to be  installed,  if  not  then  run  the  Makefile  to  install them.

Please  let me know   what problems  you  run into.

Hi Stephen

You should come along to the monthly GNU Radio group - Ted also takes part.

Andy

Hi Stephen,

I have not checked this latest    my_gsr_airspy.grc   from Feb-2, but I think I remember the    ezRA20260131_37.27.txt   data file that you posted earlier, started with this top line,
      from gsr.py
But to insure ezCon processes the correct   .txt   files, ezCon requires the first line of data files to start with the letters
      from ezCol

So, I edited your    ezRA20260131_37.27.txt   data file to start with this line,
      from ezColgsr.py
and ezCon was happier.

I saw only 25 samples, but you have a large RFI spike.  Once that is removed, I think I see some frequency noise,

Helpful ?

I still offer you that Zoom meeting.  You were busy.

Oh!  Thank you,
You  just  saved me some work.  Yes  I will  try to make it to the next GNU Radio Group.

Yes,  very helpful....   Thank you.....   I edited the ezRAVectorLogger  block, the legend, to "from ezRAColgsr.py"  and   competed a  24 hour  drift  scan.
So  far the data  looks  good.....  still  working on   analysis    using  ezConxxxx.py
