Hi,

I could not attend the meeting, but I did watch it on YouTube.

I enjoyed it a lot.

I was fascinated with the folding antenna by Jason Burnfield.  Very clever!

Are there any plans or drawing for this antenna?

Thanks for reading.

I should drop in on one of those meetings soon.  Perhaps talk about our H1 doppler measurements.

Thank you.  Looking on Amazon I see a number of them with different curvatures.  Does that matter?

None are truely parabolic,  just pick a deep one.

Or send me links to a few & I'll suggest one.

Pick one that is Not Lined ( & fiberglass ribbed )

Might be worth waiting a little, Jim – Jason and I are hoping to collate instructions for building his nifty 150cm wooden ribbed umbrella scope and I will then put them online and send everyone here a link to access them.

Of course, Alex’s umbrella scope using photo umbrella also works very well – so either option will work well for you!

The small PhotoUmbrella project is easy, low cost, lightweight, highly portable, and provides an introduction to this technique.

AND, the Loop Feed is compatible with Both.

Here is the latest  update for a more reliable Feed
