The detection pattern & most narrow beamwidth is oriented with the long axis =
Orient the dish so East-West = Long Sides of Dish.

I don't know what software you are using, but set it up to save files at @ ~ 1 degree resolution ( 4 minutes ) of time around 360 files per day.
Nothing critical here, but not Thousands of Files per day .

Need to balance S/N with Resolution & 1 deg is a pretty good compromise for a Small Dish Emoji

Everything I've done over the past 5 years has been, at 5 mins ( 1.25 deg ) and I've not seen any 'loss' in angular resolution .
