Hii-

Is it feasible to send around (or post) a list of SARA attendees (both in-person and on-line) with their email addresses, to facilitate direct communications as appropriate?

Maybe even have it in a place that’s not accessible from the web site font page, similar to the way the SARA journal is  ?   One could have an “opt-in” choice...

Bob (Hamers).

Email addresses of folks on SARA can easily be obtained from this mailing list on your email client from the top of the email. So as long as you know who you want to contact then you can look up one of their posts on this forum and contact them that way.

I dont know whether it is OK under data protection to send out list of everyone who registered for conference. Jason/team - anyone know?

Is there anyone in particular you wish to contact? Maybe we can facilitate the contact for you.

Andy

It’s changed over the years…

When I first went down, we wrote our name/email onto a page and had that xeroxed.

Later, I believe it was shared as part of the download link for the presentations.

I think (on occasion) that we’ve always distributed it… if you didn’t want to share, you just said so/didn’t write it down.

Ed

PS – I have no objection to my email being shared within the group, provided you are not going to use it for advertising or share it outside the group!  :>

I think the best approach is if you attended the conference and wish to share that, along with your contact information, then please do that here on this threaded discussion.

I have a list but I feel ethically, and legally from a PII perspective, that I should not share people's information.

I'd say just speak up if you want to share your information here.

Btw, great meeting you Bob, great presentation and thank you for participating

Marcus,

Add my name & email to list.

    Bruce Randall.

In distant past people put their name on list at the conference, if they wanted to share info. At end of conference, a copy of the list was given to everyone.  Most do want to share, but privacy needs to be respected.

Thanks for holding together a great conference.  All presentations were great and Green Bank is a great host.
