Job Title: Backend Developer
Location: Southfield, MI
Duration: Contract
Job Description:
You will design, develop and deliver new services to our customers, simplifying the car sharing experience, as well as create and improve new solutions for tomorrow's shared mobility solutions. You will also have the unique opportunity to work in highly innovative and collaborative startup environment!
Basic Qualifications:
- 4 years of experience in a software engineering role.
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or similar.
- Experience in express, node.js framework for backend development.
- Experience in JavaScript, typescript.
- Experience in object oriented language such as Java, C#, Python.
- Understanding of mircoservices architecture and experience developing backend services and RESTful APIs.
- NodeJS – Required
- Docker – Required
- AWS – Desirable
- Kubernetes - Desirable
- Java - Desirable
- Experience with all levels of testing (unit, integration and acceptance) and related frameworks.
- Ability and willingness to mentor entry-level and mid-level developers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, etc).
- Cloud technology experience (Azure, AWS, or Equivalent).
- Experience delivering solutions that utilized Machine learning.
- Pride in beautifully crafted and well-tested code.
