Title: AEM Developer  Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 6 to 12 months

 

Job Description:

As an AEM developer, you will be creating and implementing foundational elements within a cross channel content management platform. This will require deep experience in the approach for component-based development and reuse patterns to create a flexible authoring environment, as well as a keen understanding of how to apply Content as a Service (CaaS) approaches to support headless cross channel use cases. 

 

You will work closely and in partnership with the business to ensure joint satisfaction and success, as well as with architecture and cloud teams to ensure stability and performance of the system. Lastly, you will work with a variety of other development teams on the development of their content consumption “contract” and assist them with the proper integration of your developed content models and services into their multichannel products

 

·         3-5 years of enterprise development experience using J2EE in a distributed environment

·         Experience in JavaScript, building/integrating Single Page Web Applications with AEM.

·         Experience developing and integrating AEM 6.5 applications or other enterprise services  

·         Well versed in AEM best practices, building out solutions that are maintainable and scalable.

·         Solid skills in HTML5 and CSS3. 

·         Integration of reusable templates and components to create digital experiences

·         Knowledge of the Agile Development Methodology.

·         Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

·         Experience migrating legacy AEM components to AEM 6.5        

·         Design / develop and implement a solution based on AEM

·         Own the component design and implementation AEM or associated frameworks

·         Develop and implement strategy for migrating content from different WCM systems to AEM

·         Collaboration with  onshore and offshore teams for delivering AEM projects

·         Application of Agile development principles and their automation

·         Partner with the client’s infrastructure and architecture team to devise strategies for implementing AEM on their infrastructure or design a new infrastructure

·         Develop best practices and institutionalize these best practices

Nice to have skills:

·         Experience in developing for AEM Touch, Asset Management (DAM) Implementation and a familiarity with Adobe Analytics, Launch and Target

·         Experience integrating Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics with AEM
