Job Description:
Skills: Java, J2ee, AWS, Springboot, Microservices, Spring
· Must have 7-10+ Years of hands-on professional experience using Core Java, Angular, Microservices, Spring, Springboot, AWS and related frameworks.
· Proficiency in AWS environment.
· Solid understanding and experience with Object-Oriented design and development
· Experience in building server-side applications using J2EE Technologies.
· Proficient with database technologies, including modelling and performance tuning.
· Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments.
· Experienced with JUnit, Test Driven Development (TDD) using Concordion framework, and Behavior Driven Development using Cucumber and Gherkin.
· Competency with source control (preferably Git) and Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins.
· Practiced understanding of Agile development methodologies & understanding of DevOps Integration
· Hands on with Agile software/tools (e.g., JIRA, etc.)
· The ability to write reusable, optimized, maintainable code that is well documented and follows industry-standard best practices
· Good problem-solving skills
· Good communication and presentation skills: ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner, across all stakeholder groups and with staff from junior to senior levels
Senior Python Developer/Mid-Level Python Developer @ Wilmington, DE/Mclean, VA

Responsibilities
· Must have strong experience on Python Backend Development.
· Work with development team and other department leads to outline scopes of and design new toolsets
· Create intelligible plans for how tools will be implemented, including documentation and diagrams as necessary, to aid in team collaboration
· Refine plans to meet team requirements and implement them into functional, structured, and efficient applications
· Identify inefficiencies and counter-intuitive elements of current toolsets and offer practical solutions
· Implement redesigns of existing toolsets to improve performance, compatibility, stability, and/or implement additional features
· Complete and review documentation for projects or any operational effort
· Provide system performance monitoring and troubleshooting
· Maintain current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
· Other activities as assigned
Competencies Required
· 5-10+ years experience with Python
· Proficiency with AWS
· 2+ years experience with Django
· 2+ years experience with MySQL or comparable SQL DBMS
· Proficiency with RESTful APIs, including integrations with Python's "requests" library
