Role: Data Engineer / SSIS

Location: Hartford, CT

Description:
Looking for a Data Engineer expert in Python. The individual will be responsible to develop insightful dashboards for one of the leading healthcare providers in the US. The ideal candidate must possess strong design skills.

Requirements:
 ·      Advanced knowledge in MSSQL Server and/or DB2, SSIS, Microsoft .Net Framework, ASP, C#, Visual Studio, SAS, & SQL or similar.
·      Hands on Experience in SSRS, Crystal Reports, SAS, or other report builder tools.
·      Strong programming skills in Python, Java, or any of the popular scripting languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems
·      Advanced knowledge in Hadoop architecture, HDFS commands and experience designing & optimizing queries against data in the HDFS environment.
·      Knowledge on Cloud architecture and Cloud Db setup on GCP, AWS or Azure.
·      Experience building and implementing data transformation and processing solutions.
·      Prior Database modeling experience preferred.
·      Strong collaboration and communication skills within and across teams.
 ·      Ability to leverage multiple tools and programming languages to analyze and manipulate large data sets from disparate data sources.
·      Ability to understand and build complex systems and solve challenging analytical problems.
·      Multiple years of progressively complex related experience.
·      Experience with data visualization tools preferred.
·      Working knowledge of Star Rating methodology and Data preferred.
