Role: Senior Security Engineer (Cloud)

 

Location: Remote

 

Skills/Experience needed:

 

• 7+ years information security experience to include cloud related responsibilities working in an agile delivery model
• Experience with cloud security services and engineering, including public, private, and hybrid models
• Strong experience in UNIX system administration and automation with an emphasis on security, security orchestration and automation (SOAR), Container and Cloud security
• IaC – (Cloudformation Terraform)
• Strong hands-on scripting experience (e.g., Python, Java,)
• Demonstrated threat modeling capabilities in networking, infrastructure, and applications as they impact the security posture of an organization
• Red/Blue/Purple team assessments, security policy development, and audit automation. Experience performing security/vulnerability reviews of network, server, and endpoint environments
• Knowledge of malware analysis tactics and techniques
• Experience reviewing and analyzing network packet captures
• Experience with web application testing tools for DAST, SAST, and IAST analysis
• Penetration testing, proactive vulnerability management, and incident response services
• Experience with industry standard logging, monitoring, detect and response solutions (Splunk, Defender, eSentire, Alertlogic, etc.) 
• Certification: CISSP, AWS Security/Solutions Architect

 

Nice to Have

• Certification: CISM, CISA, NCSF, CEH
• Experience in Compliant cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, OCI, Terraform, Kubernetes) specific to the NIST guidelines
• Leveraging advanced threat detection and response AI solutions
