Reminding us that life is a mixed, colorful blend,

Of joys and challenges, from beginning to end.

New clothes, loud laughter, rangoli at the floor,

கலிவெண்பா

மாவிலை வாயிலில் மங்கலமாய் ஆடிடும் 

பூவுலகு போற்றப்  புதுக்கதிரோன் 

தோன்றிடும்

புத்தாண்டு பூத்துப் புதுப்பிக்கும் நம்பிக்கை 

எத்தகு நெஞ்சிலும் இன்பம் பொழிந்திடும்

வேம்புடன் வெல்லம் விதவிதமாய்ச் 

சேர்த்திடும்

மேம்படும் நற்சுவையில் மேனி சிலிர்த்திடும்

துன்பமும் இன்பமும் தோன்றும் 

கலவையாம்

பன்முக வாழ்வதன் பாங்கை உணர்த்திடும் 

சித்திரக் கோலங்கள் சீராகத் 

தோன்றுகையில்

முத்திரை ஆடைகளும் முன்வந்து மின்னும்

உகந்த உகாதி உவகை தரும்நாள் 

அகந்தையை நீக்கி அருளைப் பெருக்கும்

வசந்தம் தழுவ வளங்கள் பெருக 

இசைந்திட வானதே யின்று.
