You may be aware that #TARGETSamskritam hackathon is ongoing currently with more than 100 teams participating and with a product submission deadline of 5-Jan-2021.

While participation in that event is possible only for those who registered, we at Sanskrit club also received some queries from many others on whether a basic (beginners) level workshop can be conducted for the Sanskrit enthusiasts who may not be much familiar with coding or use of technology for developing apps. We are fortunate that both master-trainers from India listed at http://appinventor.mit.edu/explore/master-trainers , Sri Sarvesh Karkhanis and Sri Harsh Thakkar are also Sanskrit enthusiasts

We are glad to announce that Sarveshji and Harshji will conduct a hands-on workshop where those interested can try making a simple app which does not involve major coding. If you wish to participate in trying it hands-on through a webex, please join this Telegram group - https://t.me/joinchat/Fl8-wA1Rp-W-BOdA - where the webex link will be shared a few mins before the workshop. If you want to just watch the session, a live stream will be available at https://www.youtube.com/user/sanskritiitr/videos by the start time of the event as mentioned below. #codeSanskrit

Incidentally: I stumbled upon https://www.sarvesh.co/ and found it quite inspiring! Wonder if he was homeschooled.

Yes, I was (almost) home schooled!
Meaning I was in a school, but attending it everyday was never made mandatory to me by my parents!
My dad (an IIT-B alum) is a big proponent of home schooling and now promotes a few organizations that implement NIOS curriculum.

Later I even dropped out of my engineering college, built my own robotics lab and completed my undergrad education through a reputed distance learning program.

You guessed it right!

Sarvesh

both function below written in भव programming . still building .
where keywords are following :

If --> यद
elif --> एतद
Else --> तद
print --> पश्य

भव is altogether new language as we are not only changing keywords in python programming language but also source code of compiler to include indian native language syntax .
something for using for loop like :

हर i रेंज(2, n+1) में:   english equivalent for i in range(2,n+1):

feel free to give feedback if we should make better selection for keywords .

ajay

# Fibonacci Series using Dynamic Programming

# पहला फिबोनैकी संख्या is 0
एतद n==0:
# दूसरा फिबोनैकी संख्या is 1
एतद n==1:

रच फिबोनैकी2(n):
# Taking 1st two fibonacci nubers as 0 and 1
हमारलिस्ट.append(हमारलिस्ट[i-1] +हमार_लिस्ट[i-2])

Hi Ajay,
I would like to suggest a few things from user perspective for proposed भव language. Kindly let me know the github page so that I can raise appropriate issues.
