where to download all sanskrit dictionaries

All,

I will greatly appreciate your help and guidance. 

1. Many years ago, i had downloaded all the zip files of multiple 

    sanskrit (and other indic languages like kannada and hindi ) in one file and

     extracted them for my stardict reader.

     SOmehow, I cannot find it on now - can you please help !!

2.  Considering there are so many Indian software engineers - can we not have

     one Dictiionary app, which I can download and install and choose the 

      Sanskrit dictionaries (or other indic language)  I want, after which the dictionaries

      are automarically downloaded and even updated.

      Why does one go have to go thru this pain of downloading zip files, extracting etc.

      (this is how it was  2-3 decades ago )

A big thanks to Sri. Dhaval Patel for developing this app.  Very very useful ! 

It must have taken a lot of effort. 

Previously, I used to use goldendict.mobi/dictionaries.php 

The good thing about it was, that when I searched for a word like "धर्म" - then a full list of the word meaning/description from all the dictionaries would show up 

one below the other and it was easy to read from across dictionaries.  There was also a feature to directly go to a specific dictionary like vachaspatyam or kalpadruma.

Here is some feedback !

On HDICT app, 

1. List of word entries: we have to horizontally scroll and pick a dictionary.  There is no easy way to see the same one word meaning from all the directories - as one long list. 

2. I prefer to look at Vachaspatyam and Kalpadruma first, before the other dictionaries. It would be great to be able to prioritize the dictionaries. 

3. Not all dictionary entries are shown: As an example when I typed in धर्म, only the Apte dictionary options (1890, 1857) showed up

Please consider these requirements/use-case if and when possible.

If that is your primary concern, you may wish to try another app called "Dadimi".

For Sanskrit specifically, I would suggest also considering another tool by Dhaval: https://sanskrit-lexicon.github.io/csl-app/. Used as a progressive web app, it's very well adapted for mobile, works offline, and has 42 dictionaries, including Kalpadruma and Vacaspatyam. My experience with it so far has been very encouraging. The specific advantage of Dictionary Updater seems to be its support for other languages, as well.

I have fixed the compatibility issue, and the new version is now available. Please check and let me know if you can download it now.

This is exactly the problem I had set out to solve through Dadimi. Try it out! Any feedback/suggestion/feature request is welcome.
