Is not the subject-line of this message somewhat misleading ?

From what I have known, the program only teaches how to read Gita, 

It is not compulsory to learn it by heart also. Recitation does not mean that also. 

Learning Gita by understanding the grammar and meaning of every word is too far.

If you start learning by joining a weekly class in  2 years you will reach Sandhi which is essential for reading the gita. This is even if you do not become fluent with the grammatical sutras. Samskrita Bharathi and other organizations organize classes everywhere. I would encourage you to seek out a class that is convenient for you

Excellent I suggest attending Teh Bhaskar Varma regularly. Once you have a handle on Sandhi you can better appreciate the gita
