Meeting in Panchayat on Wed, garbage issue

Meeting at panchayat hall tomorrow at 10.30 am .. on Solid waste management plant of Saligao...

Looks like there no possibility of Govt. building new garbage treatment plants for next few years in Goa..and (blame goes to sossegad..laid back attitude of Saligaokars)..

But work on new extension of increasing capacity of Saligao solid waste management plant to 250 tons is underway.

And than we can expect garbage of full Goa may get treated here.. 

Few days back garbage dump from Candolim Aradi was dumped on next to the Saligao plant for treatment that's why couple of weeks ago Saligao and the neighboring villages were facing unbearable stink and odour . 

Day by day increasing garbage of Goa requires more Garbage treatment plants... Solution is simple but building new plants is not taken seriously and quite ,tolerant Saligaokars are taken lightly for their friendly and patience attitude.

This is not acceptable..we will be answerable to our next generation for making our village a garbage dump of Goa...

The panchayat has called for villagers meeting on this issue tomorrow at 10.30 am . Please attend this meeting in large number. Let us plan for an action plan to solve this problem.

Come up with your ideas and strategies..

Keep aside your party affilalations and unite to voice against this problem or it may turn our village in to another Margao Sonsodo..
