Hello,

I have sage installed on my ubuntu with version:
SageMath version 9.7.beta8, Release Date: 2022-08-07
it uses python 3.10.5

~$ sage --python3 --version
Python 3.10.5

while my main python3 is

~$ python3 --version
Python 3.8.10

Does it mean that the sage doesn't know about my default python3? I had some issues with importing the sage packages to python, could it be the reason?

Thank you,
Josef

Sorry, I already understood that this is normal.

Best,
Josef
