macOS downloads: "py2" variants?

The macOS downloads for Sage version 9.1 include variants with and without "py2" in the name. The installation instructions and the macOS readme in the top level directory don't indicate what this is for.

Which version would be appropriate for first time use on a Mojave machine? Is py2 there only for people who aren't ready for python 3?

Also, where's the best place to file a bug/suggestion about including an explanation on the download page?

The py2 is Sage using Python 2, for those who need that for legacy code.  Python 3 is the new default, of course.

I'm not even sure if people made a binary for Mojave for py2.

The "website" Github repo for the sagemath organization is where that would go.  Unfortunately some of the pages on the website are not on Github for technical reasons.
