Dear SageMath Community and Dr Travis,
I am Pranav, a junior in a bachelors in mathematics and computer science program. I am interested in the following idea from the ideas list "Coordinate the graded commutative algebra and exterior algebra implementations and Gröbner bases". I am currently confused about what exactly you mean by improving the interaction between GCAs and Exterior Algebras. Does this mean redoing the implementation of GCAs to be more akin the implementation of Exterior Algebras?
Thanks in advance Pranav

Dear Pranav,
In part, but not entirely. The exterior algebra is a specific case of a GCA where all generators are odd. The exterior algebra code currently assumes all of those generators are degree 1, but it could be extended. The other part would be to mix the (commutative) polynomial rings with the exterior algebra implementation for general GCAs. This would basically be an entirely new implementation. On the other hand, having an implementation of exterior algebras using plural would also be beneficial.
