Hello everyone,

I’m a Vishal Shahi,  a sophomore at IIT BHU with a deep passion for mathematics and competitive programming. My journey in competitive math has sharpened my skills in problem-solving and given me a strong foundation in areas like linear algebra, polynomial rings, power series, and ODEs, complemented by my proficiency in Python. I’m particularly fascinated by the project on enhanced support and interfaces for solutions of recurrences and differential equations, and I’m excited about the opportunity to contribute to bridging SageMath tools with standardized gfun functionalities. I look forward to collaborating with the community and learning from everyone along the way.

Dear Vishal,

Thanks for reaching out and your interest in this challenging project!

One good way to start is to get familiar with sage development
(https://github.com/sagemath/sage) as well as acquainted with the
ore_algebra package (https://github.com/mkauers/ore_algebra).

Many general relevant information is contained
https://wiki.sagemath.org/GSoC/Contributors.

Best
Vincent
