Dear SageMath Community,

I am writing to express my interest in the project "Tensor operations in Sage using Python libraries as backends". As a second-year B.Tech student specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, I find the intersection of these fields with linear algebra fascinating. The prospect of working with TensorFlow and PyTorch in this project has captured my interest and I am excited to explore this further.

I have been studying Linear Algebra for several years and regularly use it in my college coursework. I am fluent in Python and have extensive experience using libraries such as NumPy, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.

I am interested in implementing different approaches to the tensor backend operations, such as supporting sparse tensors, integrating with deep learning frameworks, and adding more tensor visualization tools. These are areas that I am passionate about and eager to explore in the context of this project.

Thank you for your consideration, and I hope to hear back from you soon.

Sincerely,

Akanksha Gupta
