strange part of the doc

I just ran across

https://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/jupyter_execute/index.html

and couldn't figure out what it is.

Any ideas?

Hi list,

It looks like some playing around with how you can display latex inside jupyter sagemath notebooks. At least the downloads latex.ipynb and latex.py suggest that.

They are artifacts generated for the page https://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/tutorial/latex.html

Perhaps they may be deleted after the doc is built...

That would be good.  If you navigate to https://doc.sagemath.org/ this is one of the first thing you would see.

Actually, I would expect to see https://doc.sagemath.org/html/en/index.html instead.

doc.sagemath.org has a different mechanism generating the front page. In my view, that is to blame.

This was an attempt to change the mechanism

It was merged, but the mechanism seems to be still there... I gave up.

The directory is anyway redundant. The PR

is for removing it after doc build.
