Different SageMath configurations on same machine

Dear SageMath,

Please advise if I can configure SagaMath with different '--prefix' and use them on the same machine, for example:

./configure

./configure --prefix=/mnt/g/Maths/sage-9.8/b4.0

you can compile it as many times as you wish with different configurations and make all of those SageMath instance coexist on your machine.
