Dear all,

The jupyter kernel for PARI/GP developed by Jeroen Demeyer was
not maintained since he left sage development. Together with
the PARI/GP team in Bordeaux I took over the maintainance and
we now have a pari-jupyter 1.4.0 that is compatible with
python 3.9 and PARI 2.13. See

https://pypi.org/project/pari-jupyter/

Best
Vincent

PS: For the time being, the sources are at
https://github.com/videlec/pari-jupyter but it might change in
the near future.

Under macOS Big Sur (11.6.1), I run jupyter under Anaconda's conda environment (conda 4.10.3 and python 3.8.12) . There, I executed "pip install pari-jupyter" but got a build failure with error message including:   'PARIKernel/kernel.c:618:10: fatal error: pari/pari.h: No such file or directory 618 | #include "pari/pari.h"'.

I do have the latest macOS binary PariGP.app installed (version 2.13.3).

How do I make the needed file(s) available for building pari-jupyter?

You can do `conda install pari_jupyter -c conda-forge` to install pari_jupyter and pari in a conda environment.
