I graded a student worksheet today, and all of his input cells were hidden. My
usual drill to reveal input is to double-click on the output.

In my haste to finish grading, I was double-clicking in the output cell to the
far right of the text (and nothing happens). I gave him a bad score for not
including his input.

Well, we got it sorted and he got 100%. Seems (in Firefox) that you need to
double-click within the text.

Is this known, understood, expected? Can it be improved so a double-click
*anywhere* in the output cell reveals the input?

If an issue is warranted, just say so and I'll migrate all this there.

Otherwise, another efficient and seamless grading session. Thanks.

This brings up an issue I am constantly dealing with when I (granted, not that often) use SMC - that it seems unnatural to me to double click the output to get the input cell.  That is of course because I am used to sagenb.  But my point is that I don't see how anyone is supposed to "figure out" how to do this on their own.  I have started so many new cells by trying to single click on the input cells (I can still see the "missing" range of lines, after all).  Can't there be a hover tooltip or something?  Perhaps that would be ostentatious, but I find it really mystifying and constantly forget that this is what I have to do.

At the least, perhaps clicking on the left on the range that is "missing" should pop those open, like code folding in the editors I use; that would seem to be an eminently discoverable compromise if a tooltip is deemed unacceptable.
