interface for pandoc

I seem to have been doing a lot with pandoc lately.  Would it be useful / possible to have a gui option to run pandoc?  For example, you click on the box next to myfile.md and then a menu appears that allows you to select the type of file you wish to convert to, etc.?

I would definitely make use of it.  Would others?

Well, that sounds like a very good ticket request to enhance the md
editor. I for one don't know pandoc, so my first question is which
conversion targets are you dealing with. That list of file types
should then also be part of the ticket, to make it clear what exactly
should be implemented!

There are many more options than I realized.  My initial thought is just to focus on:

From:

docx, odt, tex, md, json, html

To:

docx, odt, tex, md, json, html, PDF, beamer

Others could be added if need be later.
