Recently I found by chance Gregory V. Bard's collection of his fine SageCell pages at http://www.gregorybard.com/interacts.html. I wonder, whether there is a chance to establish a central repository where people could upload their pages with a short description for re-use, similar to GeogebraTube at https://www.geogebra.org/?lang=en?

Apparently there had been once such a site at http://interact.sagemath.org/top-rated-posts but the link seems to be dead.

The wiki.sagemath.org has many examples but quite a few - for exmple https://wiki.sagemath.org/interact/number_theory#Factor_Trees - throw errors on Evaluate.

There was also http://www.sagemath.org/eval.html in the beginning which I actually quite liked because of its simplicity. The heavy featured dead site got dead because it was unmaintained and spammed.

In any case - it would be absolutely fantastic to have some neat and easily searchable/submittable site. But I do not volunteer to set it up. If anyone else has time/desire/grant/etc please speak up or even better - get busy!

Yes!

Also, long ago someone volunteered to set up https://www.youtube.com/user/sagemath and http://sagemath.wikispaces.com which are actually quite nice, if not complete.  I'm not going to put her public email here but will forward this to her in case she is interested in renewing that effort.

Also, many videos are already out there - William has used both Vimeo and https://www.youtube.com/user/wstein389/videos for some of his Sage videos.  It would be really great for this to be curated somehow.   But I, too, don't currently have time to do so.

As a companion to another project I set up a URL registry for SageCell worksheets at http://dahn-research.eu:4000/sagecell. Currently it only has links to my parametrized worksheets which are all in German. Feel free to add other SageCell URLs after setting up an account. The registry is simple - it just has a full-text search and there are many idea for gradually adding small improvements.
Anyone who is comfortable developing with Meteor and would like to contribute is invited to checkout the repository at https://github.com/ingodahn/Registry.

Hello all,

Here's another example of a similar sort of platform.

I made a gist at

  https://gist.github.com/kisonecat/cd54d03372dc893632a1aa5360219234

which consists of a couple of examples of the plot command.

Then

  https://kisonecat.github.io/sagecellfiddle/?cd54d03372dc893632a1aa5360219234

turns the sagecells in the gist into live cells.

You can do this with any github gist now -- just take the gist id and stick it at the end of https://kisonecat.github.io/sagecellfiddle/?
