Sage cell not appearing

Sage cells do not appear in my browser under most conditions.  In particular, this happens at https://sagecell.sagemath.org/ when viewed with ubuntu firefox or chrome or windows firefox.  It does work with windows chrome. 

This is what I see with firefox:

I got several reports about this error, but cannot reproduce it. That particular location is for jquery-touch-punch, perhaps it is triggered only on devices with touch screens like phones? Please check and report whoever can do it!

Most likely the change is due to jQuery upgrade in Sage 8.4 -> 8.5 transition. If I cannot figure out what exactly is going on and how to fix it I will revert to Sage 8.4 before the next week starts.

Bingo (for me) - no problem on desktop Ubuntu/Firefox, not even a textbox on
reasonably current Andoid/Chrome.

OK, if this is indeed the source of problem, perhaps getting rid of touch-punch is another option. (Is it really necessary to use such an extension to make jQuery usable on phones???)

I have started a test server at http://cosmos.mat.uam.es:8888/ with jQuery Migrate plugin - can people who can reproduce the problem check how it works for them and report console error messages? I have eliminated "our" deprecation warnings, but there are some from jquery-ui and perhaps touch-punch will do something too.

I am seeing the same error on my laptop with touch screen:

TypeError: a.ui is undefined embedded_sagecell.js:29601:354

Can you please try again? I have disabled touch-punch on that server. (Clear cache, perhaps.)

Indeed, I was so concerned with things just not showing up, that didn't test if they work. No idea yet what's going on now, but on the bright side I can reproduce this new error.

Thanks so much for your work on this.  This is a great tool for my students, and they'll be using it beginning Monday.

That was a fresh error in converting the click handler for the button, should be fixed now.

That works on all the platforms I tried--ubuntu firefox and chrome and my android phone.  Thanks!

Will this be moved over to the sagecell server at some point?
