+Sudha Ramamoorthy please get back after researching : 

1) final footboard height after figuring out the AIS vs UNECE R107 contradictions. Is it 340 mm achieved with kneeling or 250 mm?

2) rear entrance ramp slope confusion in amendments

3) addition of retractable front entrance step for easier ambulant person boarding. 

While the standards advise against it, this may need to be pushed as a transition requirement till such time bus shelter level boarding becomes a reality.
