Hi,

the addressbookchanges table is continously growing here.
Is there some (automatic) cleanup route for this or do I need to implement that myself?

I suspect others have run into this as well: how do you handle that?

Hi,

We let it grow forever. What problem are you running into?

So far, none. It just made me a bit nervous to see that there is something that can grow unbounded.

We were careful in designing that table to be super simple, with the idea that under normal circumstances it takes a LOT of changes for there to be a real impact. If you do get worried because you're at a very large scale, there's no major harm in removing old entries from time to time.

There is a small risk. If you remove all entries older than a year, and there's a device that hasn't done a sync in a year, they might not see the changes between their last sync and 1 year ago.
