unable to install version 1.6 in Mac OS Catalina please suggest how to resolve the issue

I have the same problem.

Mac OS Mojave 10.14.6

When try to start app i see "“S4A” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash."

And in the "Security & Privacy" setting there is no option to allow install. I think this is because the system regards file as damaged.

Sorry, i found the answer here 

 

sudo xattr -rc /Applications/S4A/  worked like charm for me!!

 We just found an old Robotale S4A sensor board and arduino nano we'd bought years ago, and there wasn't any documentation with it. 

We got a bootloader onto the Arduino Nano, but we aren't able to run S4A, because Mac OS Catalina has disallowed 32 bit programs. 

Our problem definitely isn't that it's "damaged" or that we need to clear xattrs. It's that it's 32 bit.

Does anybody know if there are plans to update it to work with Catalina? Or where the source code is, in case I can figure out how to do it?
