New feature in 5.11 : disable download of public keys

Hi,

Just read the release notes  for 5.11, and noticed
https://github.com/rundeck/rundeck/pull/9590

Tried to add

-------------------------------------------------
## Allow Pub key to be downloaded
rundeck.gui.keystorage.downloadenabled=true
-------------------------------------------------

to rundeck-config.properties, and restarted Rundeck, with no success...

This is very important for our users, in order to allow them to deploy
public keys themselves

And , IMHO, i don't see where there is a security improvement : we're talking about public keys ...

Issue reproduced, it seems a bug (even without that line, public keys aren't available to download). Could you file it here?

Hi Xaver,

Try adding the following property:

rundeck.feature.publicKeysDownload.enabled

And then restart the instance. It works here on my end.

To enable the public key downloads, you need to define both properties as true.

rundeck.gui.keystorage.downloadenabled=true
rundeck.feature.publicKeysDownload.enabled=true
