Hi friends.
At SSU, we have a year-long 100-level geometry course that is mostly taken by future elementary & middle school teachers. We have some activities and things, but we're a bit disorganized, and we don't have a text for the course. Does anyone teach this kind of course and have a recommendation for a textbook or set of resources? Bonus points for low-cost and open source suggestions.

Thanks.
Martha

Hello! You might want to take a look at the MODULE(S2) project, modules2.com ; they have free & open-source materials for a Geometry for Teachers course. It focuses on "college geometry" topics (including non-Euclidean geometry) and on MS&HS rather than elementary school geometry, but you can choose pieces of it.

Disclosure: I'm a member of the project, but didn't author the Geometry materials in particular.

Ohio State University uses a free online textbook developed in house.

These two textbooks cover our math for elementary teachers.
https://ximera.osu.edu/m4t/elementaryTeachersOne

There are additional resources here: https://ximera.osu.edu/m4t

The activities for the elementary teachers also have instructor guides available. These are "living" textbooks so occasionally there are small changes for improvement.
