can CSS do the following?

Just curious if CSS styling can take a record that is displayed in one line (one record), and put 3 records on a single line (in columns) without any additional ruby coding or formatting (except for CSS).

Yes it can, I answered my own question.  I found a nice gallery layout, much better than the layout I had been using.
